Christ Church has had another wonderful year in Puerto Vallarta. I want to thank each of you who have stretched beyond your budgets in these economically hard times to keep our doors open. All of us have been touched by this economy and we appreciate your ongoing support. Without each of you we would not be able to continue our ministry here.
These past years we have been able to put computers in handicapped schools, supply books for the school libraries, put in water filters for drinking, bathroom stalls for privacy, sump pumps to keep the water out of the school yards, computers in the offices, teaching English to the kids and bringing layettes to the new mothers at the regional hospital. All this has been possible through your help and donations.
Our big outreach project this year is to provide a covering like the handicapped school. This time for the grade school. The covering which will reach across the entire basketball court will provide a place for the kids to play during recess in the rainy season and also out of the sun on the hot days. Currently the kids are trapped in the classroom during these times.
We are attempting to raise $10,000 U.S. for a project that would cost ten times that in the U.S. If you would like to help and still have that last check to write before New Years‚, write it to Mexico Ministries & Mission for a 2010 tax deductible gift. 4062 Varona St, San Diego, Ca 92106.
We are doing all we can to further the education of the children and bringing them out of poverty and into middle class. Your support will help us achieve this goal, we can‚t do it alone. Any amount would be appreciated.
