Father Bob is a retired priest of forty-six years from Winnipeg, Canada. He has been a visitor to Puerto Vallarta for over thirty years, staying for six months in recent times where he worshiped and served our parish.

After a curacy in Windsor, Ontario The Reverend Webster served four years in an ecumenical three point rural parish in British Columbia.  He then returned to his home city of Winnipeg to serve a core area ministry, then followed by two consecutive long-term ministries at suburban parishes.

In the last eight years Fr. Bob was an intentional interim pastor assisting parishes going through difficult transitions in the Winnipeg area. He now plans an extended stay in Puerto Vallarta after accepting the call to be Rector of Christ Church by the Sea. He was installed as permanent Rector of Christ Church by The Rt. Rev. Ricardo Joel Gomez Osnaya on March 17, 2019.

Fr. Bob has shared his life with his husband Gerry for more than twenty years.  He has a son from a previous marriage and an older son who died on Christmas Eve 2015.  Bob is a member of  the choral group SYNG!, a very popular local choir in Vallarta. He also enjoys painting, with a particular affection for whale portraiture! Check out this sample of his work below.
