Bethany Community Church in Seattle is home to the Bethany MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) are a group of about 130 moms. After hearing about the lack of baby layettes for needy moms in Puerto Vallarta, the MOPs organized a clothing drive at their church and in Seattle by bringing clothes, buying binkies, finding suitcases and most importantly, by praying.
The baby clothes were then brought to Puerto Vallarta where they were given to mothers of newborns at a local maternity hospital near Christ Church.
