If you’re new here, then welcome! We understand newcomers may want to know more about us, so here is a list of some frequently asked questions (FAQs):

What are your Sunday services like and how long do services last? What happens during? What happens after?
Our Sunday services are held under an air-conditioned palapa and usually last around one hour. They include scripture readings, a sermon, and songs performed by the many talented musicians in our congregation. We provide hymnals so congregants can sing along. During the service, the priest will invite anyone to come forward to receive blessings for birthdays, anniversaries, travel, and healing.

After service, we socialize in the parish hall during coffee hour which almost always includes baked goodies.

Is there any kind of dress code, formal or informal?
We urge you to come as you are! Being situated in a tropical climate just steps from the beach, we wear anything from t-shirts and shorts to linen dresses and guayaberas. Even our rector usually wears sport sandals and shorts.

Who can take Communion?
All Christians, from any denomination, are welcome at the Lord’s table. We offer both bread and wine, with gluten-free wafers upon request. If you don’t want either, you can come forward with your arms crossed against your chest and you can receive a blessing instead.

Can I bring my children?
Yes, children are always welcome.

Can I just sit in the back and watch?
You are welcome to participate as much or as little as you wish.

What happens when I first walk in?
Our greeter will welcome you and hand you a hymnal and a service bulletin containing the daily scriptures. We can also create a nametag for you.

How many people will be there?
During low season, which runs from Easter until late October, weekly attendance is around 20. During high season, we average 45 to 60 attendees.
