During Bing's professional career, he worked in corporate, private, and government law in Nevada and Utah. Bing has been involved with music in one form or another most of his life, including as a pianist and as a church organist.
In 2019, Bing took early retirement and moved to Puerto Vallarta from Las Vegas, Nevada. He was introduced to Christ Church by the Sea in 2020 and began serving as a substitute musician for then-music director Jean-Guy Comeau. Bing has been one of several musicians serving Christ Church by the Sea since that time.
Outside of church, Bing performs as a pianist and vocalist in various Puerto Vallarta venues, both alone and with a number of well-known local singers, focused mainly in areas of pop and “the Great American Songbook.”
