Marylou moved to Puerto Vallarta from Toronto, Canada in 2008. In Canada, Marylou worked for a variety of non-profit organizations as well as in government.
She found CCbtS in 2014 and has never looked back. Marylou started as Vestry Clerk back in 2018 and is now both the Senior Warden and Treasurer. Marylou is an accredited ESL teacher and gives classes during the week in her neighbourhood.

Dan moved to Puerto Vallarta with his husband in 2022 from Santa Fe, New Mexico. In 2024 he became Junior Warden to assist with maintenance around the church. Dan and his husband enjoy traveling and getting to know their new country.
María Velázquez Ammerman is a southern California native who lives full-time in Puerto Vallarta. She holds dual U.S. and Mexican citizenship.
Maria is a retired property/casualty litigation manager. In her free time, she enjoys beach walks with her rescue dogs, pub trivia, and home improvement.
She joined Christ Church by the Sea in early 2023, shortly after arriving in Puerto Vallarta. Besides serving as vestry clerk, she is a lay reader, lay eucharistic minister and altar server.
Sudy arrived in Puerto Vallarta in 1999 and for the first nine years devoted herself to charity work. She started an international expat health insurance business and finally retired when she sold the company in 2022.
Sudy has been a member of Christ Church by the Sea for ten years and a vestry member for the past five years, extending her devotion and efforts when called upon.
Annette is a cradle Episcopalian, now serving on her sixth Vestry.
Her passion is fundraising for MOM, the Mujeres del Occidente de México, which is a diocesan group promoting women's Christian education, physical support and family help.
Sarah retired in Traverse City, MI with her partner Steve and is a Puerto Vallarta snowbird during the winter months. Prior to retiring, Sarah earned a Master of Science in Health Care Finance and worked 30 years in Health Care Administration. In addition, Sarah owned and operated a Yoga Studio. Sarah received a two-year program certificate in Contemplative Leadership from Shalem Institute of Spirituality and has facilitated many women’s spiritual learning groups. Sarah is thankful for finding her way to Christ Church by the Sea’s loving community.
